Cathy will be in touch with many of you soon (do reach out to say hello – but in the meantime, here’s an introductory video from Cathy and 3 things things to know about our new CEO, that you might yet not!

1. Cathy’s first job was as a Production Assistant on Birmingham’s BRMB Radio, working with the legendary Les Ross!

2. She was one of the Top 15 Influential Women in HR in 2019

3. If you follow her on Twitter (@cathyab) then be aware that she tweets about Morris dancing, cake and trains just as much as good work and the social economy.

Cathy says “the opportunity to join iSE, at such an important time for the city of Birmingham and its people, is one I am thrilled to be taking on.

There are challenges ahead, but some great opportunities too and I look forward to working with our West Midlands social entrepreneurs to strengthen the local social economy.”
