iSE | How We Support You at iSE
Our mission at iSE is to grow the social economy through the development of the social enterprise sector, by creating employment, regenerating communities and creating social impact.
We do this in a number of ways, through nurturing our Social Enterprise Places and networks (Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter, and Birmingham as a Social Enterprise City), through partnership with other SEs, councils, LEPs and many other organisations, and through the grassroots programmes we deliver to people wanting to set up or grow social enterprises for themselves.
We currently have two programmes on offer, ‘Get Up and Grow’ funded through the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP (known as GBSLEP) and one funded through the European Social Fund (ESF), in partnership with Witton Lodge.
Our Get Up amd Grow Growth Programme
In partnership with the GBSLEP Growth Hub, this free programme provides support for existing organisations in Birmingham and Solihull who are looking to spring into action following the lockdown.
Our expert Business Advisors can help move your business to the next level with business planning, access to specialist services, coaching & mentoring and linking you to free business support and industry specialists.
For those organisations in Solihull or those looking to do more business in Solihull we are organising a Solihull Social Enterprise Network and for those organisations who want to grow and would benefit from collaboration and peer support we are starting a new Peer-led programme in mid-September.
