iSE | Getting Social in the City!

iSE announces the formal launch of Birmingham as a Social Enterprise City, following the press release earlier this year at City Drive 2018!

… And we’re inviting you to join us for an evening of celebration on national social enterprise day, Thursday 15th November 2018.

The launch event is taking place with the kind support of Unity Trust Bank and UIA USE-IT, a place-based programme tackling entrenched social challenges in Birmingham.

Birmingham-based social enterprise, iSE CIC, led by Sarah Crawley, has been deeply involved in developing a cross-city partnership to launch Birmingham as a Social Enterprise City. Working on place-based projects such as USE-It and the original social enterprise place, Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter, has clearly evidence the appetite for delivering social value at a local and a city level.
