iSE are partnering with The Social Enterprise Academy to bring you two new unique and intensive accredited leadership programmes designed exclusively for the not-for-profit sector.



This programme takes a whole organisation approach by working with Chief Executives and middle managers. Learning is delivered in two separate but linked programmes, over a six month period, to truly embed organisational change.


Part 1: Leadership into the Future


4 modules across 8 days | June 2019 – January 2020 | Birmingham




A leadership programme exclusively for Chief Executives and senior managers leading third sector organisations in Birmingham, the Black Country and the Wider West Midlands.

This programme provides practical opportunities to explore different theories and leadership themes creating a powerful and transformational experience.

Now more than ever, third sector CEOs need a strong support network to help address the leadership challenges they face.

Designed by the sector for the sector, this programme provides protected space to build your leadership skills in line with your live issues and challenges.

Following completion of Part 1 Leadership Into the Future, CEOs and senior managers are then invited to nominated middle managers to attend part 2.

Part 2: Unlocking Your Full Potential


3 Modules over 6 days | September-November 2019 | Birmingham

This programme is for middle or senior leaders in organisations where the Chief Executive is attending the Leading for the Future programme.

Unlocking Your Full Potential will help you to step up and strengthen your ability to lead, engage and motivate individuals and teams. It will give you the support and space to explore and reflect on your leadership and gain confidence in dealing with the exciting and upcoming opportunities and challenges in your organisation.

– Enhance and increase your leadership skills and confidence

– Develop an understanding of key leadership topics such as motivation, setting and communicating direction and emotional intelligence

– Learn to use participatory techniques to improve engagement in the groups you are working in

– Gain an internationally recognised qualification from the Institute of Leadership and Management

This programme has been carefully developed and thought through so it could be of most value to the participants

Accreditation: This programme will entitle learners to gain the ILM Award in Leadership. This qualification is accredited at ILM Level 5 and equivalent to SCQF Level 9/NQF Level 6.
