Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter

The Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter, launched on Thursday 12th December 2013 as part of the wider Social Enterprise Places initiative, marks an exciting new phase in the support and development of social enterprise in Birmingham.

DigbethSocialEnterpriseQuarter

Over fifty social enterprises are based in Digbeth/Highgate and these social and cultural entrepreneurs  are giving a new lease of life to Birmingham’s oldest industrial area. It is hoped that recognition of the Quarter will help raise the profile of social enterprise and offer a focus for social enterprise-led regeneration and development in the area. It is our aim that in the future the initiative may also attract European funding.

The local residents association and colleges in the area are also involved in the initiative, keen to join the social entrepreneurs in their bid to improve communication, opportunities and the environment in and around Digbeth. If you want to be part of the longer-term development of the Digbeth S

ocial Enterprise Quarter ring Elizabeth Barker or Emma Nugent on 0121 771 1411 or email  info@i-se.co.uk
