WECH | Welcome to Nicole

We are delighted to welcome new team member, Nicole Robinson, to our Women’s Enterprise and Community Hub.

Nicole joins us as a Project Officer based in our Sparkbrook Hub where she is already busy supporting some of our new community services focusing on areas such as mental wellbeing and money management along with the new Bright Enterprise start-up programme.

Here’s a little interview we would like to share so that you can get to know Nicole a little better and get in touch about any of the projects she is working on.

Your role with us…

I will be providing project and monitoring support on the Mental Health, Money Management and Business Support Projects. I will also be working closely with the project management team to assist in the development and delivery of the projects at the Women’s Enterprise and Community Hub.

Why you joined our WECH team…

I joined the team to provide support to social entrepreneurs and community projects, in order to support them to develop their ideas into projects that can benefit and strengthen the community. I also wanted to be apart of an organisation that is making long-lasting change in the community.

Favourite social enterprise…

I don’t have one particular social enterprise as there are so many great organisations doing amazing things. I love organisations which support and empower young women as this issue is close to my heart. I also run a small social enterprise for young women so any organisation that does vital work in this area I highly respect and look up to.

A little about yourself…

Nicole has a BSc Honors in Psychology and a MA in Global Citizenship, Identities and Human Rights. Nicole has spent time working and volunteering in Ghana, Uganda and Malawi. She has worked in the charity sector for several years and her interests include gender inequality, women empowerment and women’s rights.

What your passionate about and like to do out of work…

I love spending quality time with my family and friends, I love travelling, eating out and going for walks in beautiful places.

We all want to wish Nicole lots of luck in her new role with us!
