National Social Value Conference | 14 November 2017, Birmingham
The National Social Value Conference 2017 #BridgingTheGap on Tuesday 14th November is taking place in Birmingham.
It is an important annual event and anyone with an interest in Social Value would benefit from attending.
Andy Street, Mayor of West Midlands has agreed to present his vision for the region and Rt. Hon. Hazel Blears will be moderating a key note panel including Jonathan Porritt OBE, Theresa Grant, CEO of Trafford Council, Adrian Thacker of the Princes Trust as well as Chris White previously MP for Leamington and the original sponsor of the Act.
There will also be the launch of The National Framework for Social Value Measurement which represents a major step forward in establishing a single (minimum) set of metrics for defining and measuring social value.
Choose from deep dive sessions on Health, Frameworks, Devolution (WMCA are launching their Social Value Policy) and how to integrate social value into the planning process. There will be workshop sessions covering a number of topics including bidding.
