iSE to Launch New Women’s Enterprise Centre
iSE has been awarded a contract from Birmingham City Council to develop a new Women’s Enterprise Centre at Southside Business Centre in Sparkbrook.
The Centre willl help help improve business skills and confidence whilst encouraging enterprise start-ups through tailored wrap around business support.
Councillor Tahir Ali said the scheme would help boost employment in the area.
The Centre will open its doors in April 2015, but in the meantime services, such as business support and a networking group will be offered to women from iSE’s premises in Digbeth.
Sarah Crawley, Chief Executive of iSE said: “We are thrilled to have won this contract which will enable us to support even more women to realise their dream of running their own business. We will be aiming to give them the confidence, skills and contacts they need to succeed.”
