iSE | Supporting Social Enterprises to Prepare for ESF
On the 17th April iSE delivered a session in collaboration with John Lee, a consultant and technical adviser for BCU on strategy and funding around writing a outline application for European Social Fund (ESF) calls.
This is part of the work that iSE does as a provider of Technical Assistance for the European Structural Investment Fund (ESIF), building the capacity of the third sector to draw down European Social Funds in order to increase our ability to increase opportunities for the people of our city.
The event was successful, covering all sections of the outline application in great detail with specialist advice and knowledge provided by John Lee. We’re hopeful about the ideas that came out of the session for potential 3rd sector collaboration for the next ESF calls that are due to be released at the beginning of May.
We will be hosting a follow-up event with John Lee on the 10th May, progressing through the full application stage, building on the knowledge gained from the last event to build collaboration and capacity of the third sector around European funding.
