iSE | Social Enterprise World Forum Update

The Social Enterprise World Forum takes place in Edinburgh next week and we’re delighted to be involved in the week-long festival of workshops, discussion and learning from across the globe.

Billed as an international event for social enterprises from all over the world to come together, share wisdom, build networks and explore how to create a more sustainable future, this year iSE are involved in the SEWF in number of ways.

We’re delighted to have our Chief Executive, Sarah Crawley delivering two sessions, Entrepreneurship for Social Impact and Stimulating Social Enterprise Growth – the Places Model, as part of the wider #SEWF2018 programme.

We’ll be showcasing the work of Birmingham-based social enterprises through our mini-marketplace with a Made in Birmingham social enterprise stand promoting the city of one thousand trades.

We’re also running a Social Enterprise Safari in the Digbeth Social Enterprise Quarter, providing a central stop-off for those travelling from further afield.

As always the SEWF has a packed programme that includes fringe events and an activity week, with a smorgasbord of  masterclasses, workshops, and symposiums lead by international speakers and leading social enterprise thinkers. Event tracks and cross cutting themes include a focus on young people and education as well as sustainable planet and social enterprise eco-systems.

Please do come and see us and tweet @iSE_CIC

We hope to see you there.
