INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY | Website in a Day Workshop Winners!

iSE is delighted to announce the winners from our recent competition for 4 inspiring women to attend a ‘Website in a Day Workshop’ being hosted at Impact Hub Birmingham.

We have chosen each of the winners from a number of entries because they really stood out in terms of their focus and passion for developing their enterprises. Most importantly, the 4 inspiring women talked clearly about how the workshop would enable their business to grow to a next level by having an engaging and well structured website to take their products or services out to wider markets.

The workshop is being delivered on International Women’s Day by Nikki Labrum of new enterprise, Ask Ada, based at Impact Hub Birmingham, who is on a mission to increase the number of women setting up a business and supporting them as they grow.

Julia Rusu, Saima Razzaq, Shamala Antonio, Juliet Bertie.

iSE Chief Executive, Sarah Crawley, herself one of the WISE 100 (Women In Social Enterprise 100), says, ‘The importance of empowering women from all areas of society is very topical at the moment, but here at iSE, we have always been passionate about supporting women entrepreneurs, encouraging them as role models and opening up opportunities for women to start-up and lead enterprises.’

41% of social enterprises are led by women and we wanted to add 4 more to that % through this capacity-building workshop at Impact Hub Birmingham. Our congratulations go out to our 4 winners and we look forward to hearing more about their entrepreneurship journey.’
